How do I care for my Boody UltraLyte™?Updated 11 hours ago

Our UltraLyte™ fabric is our lightest and stretchiest yet, which also makes it extra delicate. To keep your piece looking its best, please unpick the care label gently instead of stretching and pulling it.

Why is UltraLyte™ different?

Most of our seamfree styles have an easy-remove label: just stretch gently and pull the thread. Because Ultralyte is so fine, the label stitching on some pieces is stronger than the fabric itself, and pulling it can cause a hole. That's why you'll find a sticker on your packaging asking you to take care.

How to remove your label

  1. Lay it flat. Place your piece on a table. Don't stretch the fabric or pull on the label.

  2. Snip the stitches. Using small, sharp scissors or a seam ripper, carefully cut the stitches holding the label in place, one stitch at a time, staying close to the label and away from the fabric.

  3. Slide it out. Once the stitches are cut, gently slide the label out.

  4. Tidy up. Pick out any loose thread ends. If a thread doesn't come away easily, trim it close instead of pulling it.

Watch how:

Prefer not to remove it? That's completely fine. Leaving the label in won't affect how your piece washes or wears.

I've already removed my label, and there's a hole

We're so sorry. We know how disappointing this is, and we'd love to make it right.
Please contact our team with a photo of the hole, your order number, and the style, colour and size, and we'll take care of you.

Will future UltraLyte™ orders have the same label?

We've already made improvements to the label on our next UltraLyte™ production run. Pieces currently in stock may still have the original label, so we recommend the gentle unpicking method above.
